Let's jump to turn 13

In the southeast German units reach the Wolga banks... the big squeeze continues... Defending urban hexes hopefully helps me

Turn 15
On turn 14 the Germans took a turn (12 hour) rest to resupply... This was very welcome as it enabled me to tighten my perimeter, but there still are many weak spots

Turn 18
The Germans made some gains in the urban area from the southeast. I keep harassing their rear wherever I can

We're on turn 32 and the Germans have been pushing hard... but I see many of their units in the red, and thankfully I'm receiving reinforcements

Turn 36 was a good one for me
The Germans clearly overstretched themselves... I cleared the Mamayev Kurgan area and gained ground in the north

Turn 49

The Red Army starts to strike back
Gaining ground is less important than destroying enemy units and equipment, but any extra room is welcome

Turn 65

The front seesaws back and forth
The Germans switched out a worn down division for a fresher one
I have to hold out till my mass reinforcements arrive

Turn 70
If I don't get sufficient reinforcements soon, I'm toast
The Germans broke through in various spots and even managed to reach the Wolga in the north...
