Supported Resolutions

Post by ankh morpork »

Hi there,
first of all I'd like to say that I really like the friendly support/forum you seem to have here (unlike "you know who" ;) ).

I've got a (to me anyway) very important question.

Will Panzer Command : Ostfront be supporting huge resolutions?
I'm running my windows in 5760x1080 and would really love to see PC:O support this massive resolution.
The other great eastern front based game im playing (from the unfriendly guys) don't support very high resolutions at all -
so I really hope you will :)

I know the amount of players who play using those high resolutions proberbly arent many - but hopefully you will be
supporting it anyway!

Oh, and a last question (which proberbly have been answered in other threads - but i'll ask it here anyway)
Whats the current release date of this impressive product?

I'm going to take a guess and say it isn't supported, but to tell you the truth, I have no idea. I know I haven't seen that resolution listed, but that could also be becasue my system doesn't support that resolution.

Stridor may see your post and give you the best response.

Thanks

1920x1080 wide screen is the largest resolution selection shown. Not sure if it can go larger than that or not. As Rick said Stridor would be the man to tell you for sure.

Never tested at that high res!!! but it should work - Work as in terms of getting a picture, although I don't know what sort of unholy monster machine you will need to pump out that many pixels [X(]

Mine reads 1920x1200. It may be that the game picks up the native resolution from DX or the system display settings. One way or the other, you get a pretty good image in the game, and support for wide-screen monitors.

Thanks for your reply - I can run most games in that resolution so thats why I wanted to make sure I could do the same with PZO.

Yeah, you're just rubbing it in to the rest of us with a system like that! [&o]

Haha nah, it's not that special really. ATi's newer cards does support eyefinity which means you can put up to 6 screens on just 1 card. Took me ages to be able to afford 3 monitors (I was lucky they happened to have discount on that model one I bought them). And my cpu is like 2 years old or so. So it really isnt THAT impressive :)

Anyway, hopefully PZO will support it. Can't decide if Im to order PZK right away or wait until PZO is out. I do understand that I get the patch for PZO if I buy PZK.
Look forward too it though!

I know i've said it before - but I really love the friendly atmosphere in this forum!
