Matrix Fantasy Football 2014 - *Upd 8/5 Need one player for Mtrx Pro**

Post by Breezly »

It's that time of year again everyone. There are a few spots left in the Matrix Basic Fantasy Football league, our Matrix Pro league is full-up. The legendary Paul Vebber has taken back the reigns of the Matrix Hall of Fame league, so I leave it up to him to make any posts for that league.

I am looking for a few people interested in Fantasy Football, with the winner getting a shiny new Matrix Game (I will leave it to Erik to post any restrictions on that). The Matrix Basic league is a slight upgrade from standard fantasy leagues with some additional points/scoring set. I am looking to drop the league back to 10 players, from the 14 I had last year, which was a bit much. There are three spots open, so send me a not or respond here if you are interested. You will need a Yahoo Fantasy login in order to join the league.

Let me know if you want any more details, looking forward to this season.

Regards,

Bart

I'd like a few details i might be interested. I'm already in 2 leagues but 3 sounds like a round number. I already have a yahoo sign in as the league i'm the commissioner for is a yahoo league. I like 10 man leagues as the wire isnt as bare..

Is it head to head?
draft? online or auto
Roster spots... not a big fan of leagues starting 2 QB's
Smack talk [:D]

All in all sounds like fun. Respond here or PM

QB, 3 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 Def. It will be autodraft. Looking to settle in on 10 Teams this year to keep options open for everyone. Smack Talk is encouraged.

Non standard scoring, but I can provide that if needed. Nothing too crazy.

no flex?

I'll take a spot if thats alright....I could use a free matrix game[:D]

I am curious about the scoring settings, I think i finally got the league scoring balanced in the league i'm commissioner for. The goal is always to balance out the positions so one position isn't so over powered. Yahoo added some more scoring bonus categories this year so my league will be discussing this at our draft. If i'm in....i can pm you my email to send the invite too.

i need some guidance... I've never auto drafted only online and live drafts.

I see the pre draft rankings my only question is if a player is not on my preferred list or the do not draft list will my auto pick draft him? in other words will the only players picked for me come from my preferred list. I trying to figure out how extensive my preferred list has to be. Will i know my draft position before the auto pick so i can adjust my list for my draft position?

never mind found some info on yahoo.

I'm interested if a slot is open

last year I played in 3 Yahoo and 3 NFL.COM public leagues - was in 4 of the 6 championship games and won three.
Not that it is a lot to brag about beating a public league but it shows that I play to the finish and pay attention to my teams.

You want someone who keeps his lineup updated and trying to win?
I am not big on trading but will fish the free agent pool aggressively.
Count me in.

Thanks, logged into Yahoo-Sports and team activated.
Good luck to everyone this season.

When is the draft?
It doesn't say on the team page.
I saw that it is Autopick, just curious how many days do I have to set up my draft list.

Looking towards the end of August for the Draft, around the 29th or 30th. I think I have the scoring settled so I may generate the draft order so you can strategize over the rest of the month. For some reason, I can't put the draft on the league calendar, but that is probably my fault for not figuring it out yet.

FYI to everyone, the league is full, thanx for the interest.

Matrix Fantasy Football 2014 - Need One player for Matrix Pro League

Post by Breezly »

I have one spot open for the Matrix Pro League. This league has custom scoring with individual scoring for 9 Offensive and 9 Defensive Players...pretty much everything that happens on the field gets someone a point. This is a live draft league with 12 teams. There are 11 returning managers from last year and some chump has won the league two years in a row and needs a beat down. If you want to participate, reply here or send me a PM.
