Business as usual. HQ, Bombers, amphib / airborne units, naval shore bombardement.

I find it expansive for very few MPP

Like Malta, juice is not worth the squeeze. However, the impact in North Africa does make me consider it, but you can see why Germany went elsewhere--they had bigger fish to fry.

In my current game I redeployed my air assets to Sicily right after the fall of France, and Malta fell in two three turns, the Italian navy kept a siege on both ports. I have to say that the two British CVS had been previously sunk, which made things easier.
