Troop Count of Amphibious Task Force

Post by krb3 »

Question regarding Troop count on amphibious task force. The task force screen says I have 75548 troops in task force. So I went back and counted up the trrops loaded on each ship and it came to 40,000+. Why does screen say 75k?

So are you saying the total of 75578 includes equipment plus troops? If so is that in Manual?

Yes, The total of troops and equipment. I've gone thru the manual to a point were the spine is broken and haven't seen the number explained. It's mostly an observation....GP

By intuition, you have not counted the non-combatant troops

If you mouse-over the TF on the map and take note of the Troops + Equipment numbers, they should add up to the number in this screen. In this screen, "Troops" is all LCU devices loaded and the number reflects their total load cost.

I forgot to mention the mouse over thing. Thanks Lokasenna....GP

Always a good point to remember....to transport TFs of all varieties TROOPS are any loaded device that is not supply, fuel, oil or resources.....TROOPS even includes planes.

Understood GP, but you missed my somewhat subtle point.

In order to load planes you have to select "load troops"
