Scenario 8 thoughts

Command: Chains of War is a DLC for Command: Modern Operations. 20 minutes into the future, a spark erupts in the Korean peninsula that will lead to a theaterwide conflagration embroiling the entire Western Pacific and drag all major powers into it.

Scenario 8 thoughts

This was a fun scenario, might try it a few times with different strategies. I failed the first time, and the EMPs didn't seem to do much of anything. I succeeded the second time, thinking possibly the effect of the EMP just doesn't last very long. So for each nuke I trailed it very closely with a barrage of missiles. Maybe I was just lucky, but this knocked out a large portion of the [TARGET] SAMs in one volley. Due to the volume of CAP over Taiwan I had tremendous difficulty getting close enough to any of the non-radar, non-SAM target to take any of them out (and I didn't), but I gathered the rest of the necessary points by luring aircraft into the strait, where in-between my SAM systems and PL-15s I shot down a couple dozen. The ships are worth a fair amount of points too.

There are 12 Taiwanese ssm sites that are located in the Mekong delta for some reason, way out of range. Clearly a mistake. I imagine this mission would present more difficulty with Taiwan launching 96 lacms, after the Chinese aaw forces have been exhausted dealing with the massive Taiwanese cap.

They are moved later via and an event onto Taiwan. You need to run the scenario rather than just opening up in the editor to see that or look in the event editor.

Thanks
