So now im trying to figure out how to play this

The main thing im having trouble with is plot and move

Is plot the same as attack?
and move attempts to move without attacking?

Plot is an order to move at the end of your turn, during the so-called "combat phase". It is supposed to represent cautious, combat-ready movement and it's the only way to attack and take over territory. You can plot in both your territory and enemy territory. If you plot over an enemy corps you'll be attacking it. Plot doesn't go through friendly corps.

Move changes the location of your unit immediately. It is supposed to represent marching. It only works in your own territory. It doesn't matter how many other units are in the way as long as you land in an empty spot. The big advantage of Move is that its maximum speed is about twice that of Plot.

Enjoy...

And watch your supply lines :D

One more question...
How do I change production?

To change production; right-click on a city with factories, select the factory you want to change, and then select the new type of equiipment you want to produce.

You may only change tank and aircraft factories; and you can not change tank factories to produce aircraft, or vice versa.

Respectable, hmmmm. AS long as you're moving forward, smashing the enemy, keeping your own forces under your air umbrella (7 hexes from HQ), and within supply, it's respectable. The Ivans are pretty easy to smash at this point in the game.

Is is in Estonia today? If it is, it's called Lake of Pskov, I believe.
