Yesterday the Chianti spoke for me [:D]

I really don't know where I put the files, but now it's working. Thanks!

Mainly more changes to the briefing doc, and redid the Victory Conditions again although I know they still won't work as desired. The issue is the victory level needs to depend on when the Allies capture the Ruhr, the earlier the capture the greater the victory level. This is done by adding VP's to the Allies, more for the earlier capture, less for the later capture. However, the on-map VP's interfere with this, and they need to be there for Elmer's sake. What needs to be done is several play-thru's with various levels of on-map VP's captured by the Allies to see if there can be median VP awards that will gain the desired result. Until that is achieved, players must refer to the Victory Levels in the Briefing Doc for final determination [Victory News has also been added, if they fire correctly!].

Ev1120 is 'the breakout'. It triggers a lot of events for both sides.

A series of events relating to the Allied advance in relation to the invasion zone.

I'm really enjoying this scenario. It looks like the trigger of the breakout event is allies taking St. Malo. Shouldn't it be Countances?

St. Malo does not trigger the Breakout Events.

So much for that theory. In my game the turn after St Malo fell the break out event triggered.

It would have been triggered by a number of other locations. The point is, that it should 'feel like' the breakout did occur when the event is triggered. So the question is, did you feel like a breakout had occurred in your game when the event was triggered ?

I am having problems with the total shutdown of one Allied army group or the other. Shouldn't it be a 75-25 supply split that seems more historic.

It may be difficult to contend with at first, but I think you'll get used to it. As Ike, you have to make the tough decisions as to who to give supply priority and who to halt. This was a major factor in the campaign, and when you get the hang of it I think it becomes a good bit of fun.

[The one thing I have come across that seems unhistorical is a particular situation where the German PO decides to attack an Army Group that is in Garrison Mode. This is a rare occurrence and can provide several very trying turns of scraping up reserves to hold Jerry until Supply Priority can be switched again].

Hi. I have a doubt: does this scenario come from TOAW III? I ask it because I see that the Waffen-SS units suffer of the "runes issue" (the runes of the SS appear as squares) that I see usually in scenarios from TOAW III.

It was developed entirely with TOAW IV. It was later development versions of IV that messed up the runes, and at that point this scenario was completed and the rune issue was not addressed before it was released. Sorry if it creates any displeasure for you, as it does for me.

Please, do not worry, the "problem" with the runes is just a small issue that does not stop me from enjoying the scenario [:)]

It was just a little doubt, since I've seen similar things in old scenarios.

I also thought that, maybe, it was due to a certain bug that exists in the Spanish version of the game since the last update.

Thanks for the clarification.

Steve, may I suggest changing the [][] boxes to alphabetic SS. Not perfect but would look more polished in this outstanding scenario.
Cheers

Thanks, but fixing TOAW IV issues can monopolize my time if I allow it. More concerning is the fact that things change and change again and we get no notice, so why spend time going thru OOB's and Events to correct SS units to again say SS when it may change again ?

How does this work that a game with added AI can no longer be played by email without it? I'd really like to play this with someone. Please consider this post a humble request that there be an email version of the scenario.
