Close Combat: The Bloody First Screenshots, with New Icons!

Hi everybody!

Last week, on Monday 1st during the fifth Home of Wargamers, we had the chance to talk a little about the progression with Close Combat: The Bloody First. One of the areas of improvements is the visual representation of the unit's status, to help players getting a faster idea on what’s going on the battlefield. Icons in different colors now deliver this kind of information and during the event, we showed some of screenshots featuring some of these new icons.

Where is hide order?

Also didn't CC have an ambush order?

Is there an Assault order? (Where unit uses bounding overwatch)*

Cool if there was a Fighting Retreat order. (Unit retires whilst keeping enemy engaged)*

Can you still set facing?

Can you set fire arcs?

Can you give a different order each waypoint?

Is there a wait for.... "Set amount of time"...... order?


* This would come into its own if more than one unit is selected and order given, so one unit gives covering fire whilst other pushes forward or retreats depending on order given. This is the kind of tacai I'm desperately wanting to see in a tactical wargame.
