The new additions I'm working on will be available when Version 2 of the mod is released, I'm very busy behind the scenes improving the mod, so that it will be a tougher challenge for all players, regardless of which side they play as, the changes from version 1 are massive, working with the AI is the hardest part, trying to get things to do what you want is extremely frustrating and time consuming, but I'm getting there.[:)]

Bump, on the shoutout to Kirk23. Do you have further plans for the mod? It's the only one currently with concurrent weekly turns and a greatly expanded OOB, so I was hoping you might publish your latest version.

Been a while since I downloaded and installed a mod. Followed your guidelines (Please unzip and save mod to here: Documents\My Games\Strategic Command WWII - War In Europe\Campaigns but when I open the game the mod not showing. Any idea what I doing wrong?

Do you have the .cgn file separate and out of the zipped folder and loose in the campaign folder?

First thanks for the reply. Initially I did not. I do now and the folder/files in the campaign similiar to aall the other downloads. Onlt thing that is diff and that I am missing is dat file for the download?????

Hi Roy,

If this is an older mod, i.e. developed before the v1.16 update, then it needs to be converted by the modder to the latest game standard, otherwise it is unfortunately incompatible and will not show up in game.

There is a tool we've included with the latest package that the modder can use, or you can try using it yourself as there are instructions included in the folder for this tool.

Typically it is found in your root install folder under the EXTRAS folder.

I have been given permission to continue work on this mod by kirk23.

This mod has now been converted to work with the latest patch.

Many changes are being worked on but the important thing is that this great mod will see version 2 released hopefully within a Month or two.

I have some new screenshots.

1st Naval units are now GROUPS! Named after a lead ship.


Battle Group ( 2 battleships/battlecruisers + destroyer screen )
Raider Group ( 1 German Pocket Battleship + destroyer screen per group )
Cruiser Group ( 2-3 heavy cruisers + destroyer screen )
Patrol Group ( 2-3 light cruisers + destroyer screen )
Escort Group ( 4-8 frigates, corvettes, sloops for trade routes protection )
Support Group ( 2-3 Escort carriers + destroyer screen this represents ASW Hunter-Killer )
Carrier Group ( 2 large Fleet aircraft carriers or a mix of smaller Light carriers with 150 – 200 combat aircraft.)
Submarine Group ( 8-10 Submarines wolf packs etc )
Coastal Group ( 8-10 Minesweepers, patrol boats, sub-chasers, MTB/E Boats )

Research has Early Warning Radar instead of Mobility.

I have removed Mobility research because it is not needed it always only had 1 level of research to counter doing away with Mobility research I have increased unit action points.

Armies now have Artillery as an upgrade option.[:)]

There are no Individual Artillery units in the game now, Artillery is now an upgrade option for Army units.

Division and some other unit types now have Anti-Tank as an upgrade option.

Axis Baltic to Atlantic naval loop with 12 destinations plus Heligoland coastal defense fortress added to the game

German raiders ordered back to Germany 1st September. In the game, it is extremely difficult to return Deutschland back to the Baltic, not any more both Deutschland/Lutzow and Admiral Graf Spee manage to safely reach safe harbour in the Baltic just before Britain and France join the war.
