Font changed color?

Post by Hellsenstrat »

So the font changed from black to white so I can't see how many planes take action in a battle or what happens in the combat display. It also changed in sigint and combat reports to white so you can't read it there anyone know how to change this back or what caused it?

Save the game, exit, then restart the game.

Did you change anything including in windows? If so, then change it back to what it was.

So nothing was changed in windows and no update either. Save and a restart didnt help and restarting the computer didn't help.

Try checking the Tech Support area for help. That is also a good place to ask these types of questions.

It;s more annoying than anything else but how does one fix the unexplained loss of letters from on map text (when one scrolls over it). It usually goes away after a new turn or so but sometimes it persists for several turns.

Sounds like the data dropping out from the established memory leak problem. You can fix it by saving the turn, exiting the game completely and restarting to clear all the stuff causing overflow. I can do about three turns before I have to do that.

You can read all the report files by opening the text files in the save game directory in notepad. With bigger font.

Edit: Which leads me to ask if something was changed in the way your notepad displays?

You could also go into the art director, find the images that pop up for the reports (with the text inserted in it from the txt file), and re-colour the display area blue or green to get text contrast.
