Windows 8.1 will be supported until 2023 and Windows 10 till 2025. For those that are not absolutely obsessed about it waiting until 2025 is probably a wise decision as you can get a cheap new budget PC with Windows 11 by then.

Microsoft will officially release Windows 11 on October 5th
