Double click / sound clipping

Hello there,

When I play WitE 2 on a big(ger) screen or window I hear a double click when I only click once at an object or select something in the menu. Does anyone have an idea? Is there a fix?

If you click slow enough there is another click when you lift the mouse button (I think?) Not much you can do except turn off the click sound completely.
