I just installed COI using my CD that I bought years and years ago. I tried updating it to this patch (3.6.3 ) and I get a message that says COI is not installed. I am able to run the game. I also reinstalled Close Combat Command Center and still get this error. Is there anything else I should do in order to get this patch to install? Is there a special way I should completely reinstall the game?

I get the same error even if I try to run 3.0b and 3.06.03.00.

Hi raider17 -- I suspect the original Cross of Iron installer is not creating files or registry entries where the newer updates expect them to be.

You should be able to go to https://www.matrixgames.com/member/mypage and register Cross of Iron using the serial number from your original CD. Once you've registered your game you can either get a Steam key (if you'd like to use it on Steam) or download the latest full installer (v3.06.02) and then get the latest update installed on top of that.
