OOB help - novice query

I'm really enjoying the game. Fantastic title, beautiful job done all round.

A couple of silly questions:

1. Am I missing something, or is the only way to find out a unit's place in the OOB to select it then hit F2? There's no way I can get its unit title on the counters, for example?

2. See the pic. I find it hard to read the info here. Am I right that this tells me that this unit is the 1st Platoon in the Second Company in the 31st Battalion? Or did I miss a step? Because I seem to have many second companies in the Vinh An scenario. No doubt I'm reading something wrong.

Yes, that is the only place at the moment to find the OOB information. That may change in the future, but for now, F2 is where you see that.

Yes, that is 1st Platoon/2nd Company/2nd Battalion/31st Regiment.

It looks like that because that is how the Order of battles are built in the game, like so:
