Vic, I think there should be the ability to have at least one advisor per job position but maybe even multiple. That way you can groom your young leaders and not start over from zero when your old leader dies. Also, that way you can much more capitalize on your recruit cards and not have to constantly make bad reservists retire. It is also more realistic that way. This could have some good synergy with the new DLC coming.

yes, i think having sucesor as advisor andthen taking over his role is great idea. will save a lot of frustration, when good leader dies and then you have critical failure andter failure by his succesor (even same or even better talented).

Unless there has been a change, only one of an Advisor + Position pair gains the XP for a task... there is no trainee relationship that will earn the unused Leader the skill experience. I posted on this similar Idea long ago.
