The Inner Physics or How Does It Work?

Post by ant222 »

Hello all!

We do not understand how the TOS turn system works. For example, we know how it works in xcom, Jagged Aliance, Battle Isle 1,2,3. We do not know what turns are in TOS and how they alternate. At what moments control is given from one player to another?

And we'd like to know why in hot seat mode, when a player finishes his turn, the game doesn't show a message like: "Turn of player 2. Player 1, close your eyes.". It seems that in hot seat mode all the players see the actions of their enemies even if they don't whant to see them.

Thanks in advance.

There are no true turns in ToS, because it does not follow an IGOUGO system. control is given to a player when a player has a Titan-AT that is ready to go and is awaiting orders. When all of a player's Titan-ATs are currently executing orders, they will not be called until one of his Titan-ATs finish an order.

There is a more detailed explanation of the turn system floating around the forums, go dig it up.

Try this link... tm.asp?m=675492#

If it doesn't work, go to the "Titan's Map Room" and look for a post called "guides" posted by Thorgrim.
