Any way to edit game length?

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

Any way to edit game length?

Post by DrewMatrix »

Can one edit one of the text files to change the length of a game (change the number of turns)?

I haven't yet played a game to the end. What happens at the end of the game? Game Over or do you have the option to continue (as War in the Pacific, for example, allows)?

You can just keep playing. On one game I had, where it reports the number of turns left, it went into negative numbers and kept growing.

Yippeee!

Being nuts and having an understanding wife I want to play 1792 to 1815. Probably as Spain (Not as complicated as France or Britain. And I can hardly do worse than the real Spanish Royals did).

Thanks. I wondered this too.

Any negative consequences of having negative turns left? Has it ever stopped you at a certain date anyway?
