bare breasted french women

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

bare breasted french women

Post by Treefrog »

bdtj1815's thread offers valid criticism of COG, including his subjective desire to avoid micro managing economics. Others have commented that concern about spices, inter alia, is a function of national morale.

I rise to speak to a variation on that theme.

We know that post revolutionary France was in social throes, including young women in Paris barely covering their bosoms and young officers hiring tailors to strategically "pad" their skintight pants. [:D] Kind of the MTV of the era.

I note that France can't produce cotton.

Query: is the absence of cotton something that in fact helps French national morale because the women simply don't cover themselves (what woman wants wool next to her bosom) ?

In support of this I offer that in 1792 the only French infantry with decent morale are the Swiss Guards who we know were garrisoned in Paris.

I worry about these kind of things.

I never noticed any bare breasted French women in this game.[;)]

The Patriot-tit-ism military upgrade does wonders for national morale in this game.

There is, actually, a huge body of work about symbolism and the French Revolution... bare breasted Frenchwomen included.

Not the kind of stuff to read if you're only a casual student of history, however.
