Transfer troubles

I'm stuck flying fighters and can't seem to transfer to another command (specifically I'm trying to get behind the wheel of a starship). I'm at the rank of Lieutenant Commander and about day 5 of the Operation Highland campaign.

When I pull up the forces listing, I see "3rd Fleet Archon", the 6th Carrier Battlegroup, and the 60th Destroyer Squadron. I click on those listings and nothing happens.

I've seen others post saying that you have to click on the individual ship, but I can't seem to get to that point, I'm just staring at the OB list of those 3 forces and the transfer button is grayed out and not clickable.

I'm probably failing to do something small and stupid, but it's gotten to the annoyance point, so I'm looking for help. Any advice appreciated.

A couple of questions...are you opening up the lists of those forces? There should be a plus sign next to each group's name. If you can't see the individual ship names, then you can't transfer. Also, are you seeing any warnings or errors in your errorlog?

As DL said, you need to "open" up those forces listings - there should be a little + to the right of their name next to them. This will list the ships in the group. Click the ship you want to command. You'll only be able to do members of the 60th destroyer squadron at present due to rank (and figthers).

I figured it out guys, thanks. I wasn't clicking the little plus/minus tab I was clicking on the squadron/carrier group name itself. I knew it would be something small and stupid

Seems several people are having this issue. Maybe make it more self evident.
