Air Craft Movement ?

Post by [RS]Wedge »

I have played a few games as W.Allies on the easy level without problems to get used to the game mechanics. I am now venturing into normal level.

In my last game towards the end everytime I would try to attack Germany from England using bombers and fighters the cursor would always change to "illegal move" no matter where in Germany I tried to attack. I had plenty of supply. I then noticed I couldnt attack using my land based units either anywhere on the map. The only thing I could do was to attack amphibiously or move strategically. This severely limited my options on what I could do.

Why in the beginning I had no problems at all when attacking from land to land or from the air and then towards the end I was severly limited even when I had tons of supply?

Thanks for any help or suggestions?

Aha!  This sounds like the ols "stuck control key" issue rearing it's head again, try pushing CTRL a few times and look carefully at the tool bar on the right of the screen, it should toggle between tactical and strategic movement (I.E. green as opposed to blue arrow indicator.)  Good luck!

Thanks!  I ended up losing because of that.  Hopefully next time I will have a better go of it.
