carrier strike sound problem

I'm not sure if this the proper place to ask this but when I attempt to use sound for carrier strike screen freezes at introduction. Any suggestions?

I think you're experiencing a memory limitation problem. Do you have the problem with both the original game sound files and my update, or is it just my sound update? What sound configuration (A - J) are you selecting, and which ones cause the freezing problem?

What operating system are you using? I was having problems with sound and the display of individual airgroup experience levels within Carrier Strike. I am running Windows 98. I was able to "remark out" all the lines of my config.sys and autoexec.bat and the memory problems disappeared. I think you can do this with Windows 95 and 98.

If you have problems with DOS games and sound and you have Windows 2000 you should try this little program:
