Decisive Victory/Coral Sea as Allied/Historic

Post by TheHellPatrol »

Woo-Hoo! I did it, Playing as US with Historic scenario: First i sent all land based planes to PM as usual, second i rushed my CA TG to PM as well while sending both CV TG's just outside of Cook. After a couple Jap bomb runs at PM many of their planes were KIA probably because of the combination of CA's/CAP/Harbor but i took a couple Torp hits and pulled my TG South just North of my CV TG's. The Japs sent a CVL TG in first followed by one of their main CV TG's, while they were sinking all my remaining ships in my CA TG I sent out the boys from both Carriers. Scored a couple good hits finally and landed at dusk. While the Japs were looking for my CV's at dawn i launched again...they didn't manage a hit on either the Yorktown or Lexington because i was in a bad storm and before they could land their first wave i finished off their CVL and one Main CV...Zuikaku. They hightailed it back to Rabaul as i sent my two CV TG's to the far West side of the map West of PM where i waited for the Invasion Force that was scared off!
Decisive Victory![&o] What great fun...I love this game. Now to move on to the next scenario, Hmmm...
