This is a AAR for my game against chicago227. I am the allies he the japs. No opponent allowed.
Game is CHS only house rule is no sub invasions.
Dixie and Yava convinced me to start an AAR so I have other things to do with my time waiting for turn besides spamming The Thread. So the game date is 2/17/1942 I have lost all of the DEI except Tjilitjap and Soerabaja and Timor. In the PI i still own Clark manilla and Bataan. In china no major cities have been lost and but yenan is on the verge of being lost Forts down to 3 and 2to1 assault last time. In the Burma I still own akayab the India border and the Burma Road. and in the pacific. I own Port Moresby, Suva, New Caledonia, and luganville. Only Major Island lost in the central pac is canton.

So my general thought here is that I am trying to rush in the Americal Division to Suva to reinforce that island. and a RCT and a Tank Brigade from Panama and a Dutch Base force from Melbourne to New Caledonia to try and shore up the defenses there. I have put major ground units on each one of the port hexes in the bay of Bengal and am rushing the 7th AIF Division from Aden to Perth(and hoping my opponent doesn't notice).I still have all of my CVs and a British one is about to join the Americans at Perl. Have reinforced all the lands that border the HI with a RCT or a 3rd of a division. Except midway which has a Canadian brigade and paylama which has 2 RCTs.

My goal is to reinforce Suva/Luganville/New Caledonia and hold on to these islands. While slowing him down at Port Moresbey. And hopefully buying a few more turns at sing, the PI and java. Yenan I am rushing reinforcement to in an attempt to hold that city otherwise my entire north china front could be in trouble. I want to hold Perth and Darwin but the other ports on north/northwest OZ are expendable. I am currently as soon as the KB leaves going to resume my evac of the base forces left on Timor to Darwin and Broome. POW and Exeter and Houston plus escorting cls and dds are by Brisbane waiting to respond to any invasions in the south pac. A mini KB appears to be at Rangoon. So I have units ready to move in India incase of an invasion. This is my overall plan any questions?

Thanks Yava i am going to try and not post Combat Reports but summerize everything. I'm not creative enough to make up a side story like mandrake but i will try to keep it colorful and interesting.

North Pacific.
Nothing to report here slowly building up Dutch harbor east. Put in an extra rct at Dutch harbor a month ago. And moved a base force and an rct to Cold Harbor. Slowly want to build these basses before moving in forces to kiska and Attu. Neither of these has been occupied yet.
Central Pac.
Nothing to report here sortied my US CV force to meet up with a brit cv I have sent over. Sending Seabees to Christmas Island to slowly build up all the islands in the area. I need to neutralize Canton Island which was captured earlier in the war.
South Pac.
First elements of the Americal division are 2 days out from Suva. Suva should receive all of this division in the next 15 days. This should significantly improve the situation on Suva. Also sending 2 p40e and 1 a24 units from the west coast. These are probably 20 days or more out. New Caledonia is 7-10 days from receiving the first wave of a rct. Rest of the team and other units including a tank unit are 25-30 days out.
Southwest Pac
Looks like he is moving to isolate Port Moresby. The final resistance around Rabaul(they had been driven into the jungle 1 1/2 months ago) surrenders. 2 ships are 1 hex from Milne bay. Darwin aircraft are being built back up after the kb raid. Also kb has moved from Timor so the evac operation will continue.

China.
Yenan looks like it is about to fall(forts down to 0) and I have been pushed back from the hex surrounding Ichang on the road to Chungking. I feel these 2 areas’ are the focal points for his offensive operations in china and am moving reinforcements towards these areas.

Feel everything is going as well as can be hoped right now. KB is moving towards java which I would assume is to crush sojo but I see a lot of shipping around Rangoon so I am kinda concerned that it will be moving towards the Bay of Bengal. If an invasion happens here I have been reinforcing the Bengal ports and have plenty of units. I am willing to lose tricomolee and Colombo. but am preparing to repulse any other seaborne invasion.
