facing PO's Wolverines....

Post by MPHopcroft1 »

Is, at best, challenging.

That is the task facing the University of Oregon's Ducks. Michigan lost to Divisions I-AA Appalachian State last weekend, and now the Ducks have to come to Ann Arbor and face a team that's starving for a win.

Are the Ducks gonna get plucked? Or are they going to add to Michigan's woes?

I can't say either way, but this is a good example of why a playoffs system is needed in the NCAA.

One quick loss can wipe a team out for the rest of the season when it comes to the BCS Championship Game.

Actually to me this is a perfect example of why not to have a playoff system. Coach Bryant used to say we already had a playoff, it's called the regular season.
