Most played wargame on the Net?

Post by GeneralFear »

Playing the computer AI can be fun. But for me it is best when I beat a human player.

So which war games are most played by war gamers on the Net? Mention all games. Flight sims, naval and army games.

That would be Combat Mission most likely. Not counting rts games.
WE/I WANT 1:1 or something even 1:2 death animations in the KOIOS PANZER COMMAND SERIES don't forget Erik! ;) and Floating Paratroopers We grew up with Minor, Marginal and Decisive victories why rock the boat with Marginal, Decisive and Legendary?

Agreed,
CM is still relatively easy to find a PBEM game, IP is getting tuff due to the old chat room being closed down.

But back in the day

Close Combat hands down was the most played real war games out there , probably tops the all time list .
Remember the Zone , back in the day you could pick up a game at any hour on any day on the calendar .
Sulla sometime back posted up a screen shot of the glory days at the Zone.

SPWAW and other Steel Panthers games. PBEM challenges are available throughout forums and e-mail when you get to know people.

More straightforward and my preferred way is just to start the game, pick up opponent with help of real time chat and start playing. This can be done at least with MekWars. Are there other (war)games like that?
You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.
