Vista compatible?

Do YOU have what it takes to run a country? Democracy starts with you in the role of President (or Prime Minister) of a modern country. It worked fine on our Vista test system, no problems, but the developer does not officially list Vista as a supported OS.

I'm running Vista as well, but am getting a flicker down the right side of the screens during the game. Is there a setting to adjust I'm missing?

Not sure there is a setting, but I'm guessing you have the sidebar active in Vista.  Maybe try disabling that before you start the game.  I think that is what is conflicting with the screen.

Many thanks slybelle - that was it exactly.

Also - run it in windowed mode and you can have the sidebar running as well.

I have been trying out the demo in Vista. It crashes about a third way through the game. Does it do that in the the full version also?

It does not crash on our Vista test machine. We ran through several full games as different nations. Your mileage may vary of course, but then you'd have to consider other system elements rather than Vista as the likely culprit.
