Factory repairing

Hi. I'm playing Witp (stock game, 1.806 patch)in a computer with window$ XP. I've read somewhere that the rules to repair factories are:

- To repair a Factory, Base must have >= 10,000 Supplies.
- For every Factory repaired, 1,000 Supplies are consumed.
- Factories repair at a rate of 1 factory per day.

Well, in a scenario 15 PBEM game playing Japanese side, I discovered that researching factories (-rd) do strange things when repairing. A factory in Tokyo researching Ki-43-IIa Oscar repairs, but less of a point/day; and a factory researching B7A Grace in the same city, don't repaired nothing at all in 7 months of war [&:]. Production ON, the start of researching of the two factories is the start of the war, the repairing is set Yes from then, the city had more of 10,000 supplies nearly all the time. In other cities happen something similar...

I try to test it in a head-to-head game and works the same: the rate of researching factories repairing is different to the rate of a normal factory, and the type of plane researched has some type of influence on it, too.

I'm wrong or there are special rules to repair damaged/converted researching factories?

R&D factories don´t repair at a rate of 1 a day. The nearer the production date the higher the chance that a point a day is repaired. 1 point a day only applies to aircraft that are already available.

I have hot news! [:)] I made hard and extensive tests [8D] with an specially prepared head-to-head game (0.1 second delays, combat report OFF, combat summaries OFF, animations OFF). Well, setting a factory with 224 points to research the B7A Grace, the first factory point was repaired three days after, and the second 4 days after the first. I think the formula of repairing rate for a researching factory could be (could, it's not for sure... [:-]):

1 - (months to normal production / factory points in this factory researching the plane) + random number

the random number could be the number of a two dices' throw / 36 or something...

So, if you research the Grace with 3 factory points, it's a disgrace!!! [>:]. But with BIG numbers you can see an small result. [:D]
