Won First Battle

Well it was my 3 Titans against 1, and I barely survived the experience. [X(]

I loved going in and repairing my squad and allocating the points I gained from combat. Great game!

I don't know whether to start the Deep Core campaign with my noobs, or hit the battlefield again. Still a lot to learn about coordinating attacks, and selecting the best Titan for my jocks. I can only buy Recon Titans at my current level.

Keep at it. Don't be afraid to take the campaigns. As long as your squad is at the recommended level, you should have fun. Losing a jock early on will more than likely happen, but as you can always recruit/train new jocks you can keep going.
Also, most campaign missions are set by the designers to "restart" if failed. So it's like an undo for your team allowing you to try again. (I think one of my campaigns has a mission or two that continues even if failed - so be warned! [;)] )
Part of the fun in this game is also the team management - watching the budget, recruiting new jocks, getting those business skills and mechanic skills up to lower repair costs and purchase costs.
