Realignment

Post by nstampe »

First post, long time lurker.

I just expanded my long running historical sim to current MLB alignment (3 divisions), and I forgot to move a couple of teams to the appropriate geographical divisions. Cleveland and Houston are in the West while SF and Oakland are in the Central.

Can I expand again and realign (without expanding)? Short of just changing team names, is there another option

nstampe,
do you have the last backup of your association before you did expansion? Would be in your \psa folder with the file extension of .backup

The expansion happened a few seasons ago now, so I'm not sure.

ntampe,

To the best of my knowledge, I do not believe that Puresim allows you to realign a division without actual expansion. If CrashDavis is bored and becomes divinely inspired to write a utility to do this, you may have a chance. Otherwise, I think you may have to just bear with the misalignment.
