Bryant v Timpko?

Post by CactusAF »

After much speculating the rumored division between the founders and owners of madminute games was confirmed when a series of posts by Norm Timpko seeking legal advice in his dispute with Adam Bryant was revealed:

http://www.igda.org/Forums/showthread.p ... adid=24289

The matter has become a source of talk at Wargamer and Usenet and Timpko has responded to the disclosuring by banning one members and deleting a large number of threads at his forum. This is a bad day for wargames but has been in hte works since MMG was formed.

Wow, this is sad. Their first game was brilliant and really drew me back into the hobby. This is a dark day indeed...

My advice to Norb is to take the money that he would spend on DRM and give it to Adam instead. Might even sell me a game that way. [;)] Even though I've bought it, I still can't bring myself to install their second game because it contains that securom stuff. [:@]

Real Life happens - things go fubar.

eh, don't wanna play the moderator here but I think this discussion is best held outside another wargame company's forum as there are legal implications. You're all welcome to discuss this on Usenet's war-historical where the dogs bite as hard as they bark [;)]

Yeah, there is already a thread on this over at the Wargamer.com. I would say, because this can get "political" and legal, we should keep it over there. As Eddy said, move along, these are not the forums you are looking for. <Waves hand>

Agreed, this should really be discussed somewhere else. Locked.
