a few quick questions...

I am close to adding this game to my collection. I DID have the original but

- does this version have general directional searches by scout planes or do you direct your searches hex by hex?

- also - is real time multiplayer for 2 players or can there be more?

Directional, and 2 only.

On right, set search by clicking on/off with arrows. On left, bright green are outbound search planes and dark green inbound.

OK - I see that the searching is directional but at least you can see the exact location of each serach plane right? That's pretty cool.

You have to press down the airplane shaped button in the group to the right of the theater map, but you can do it.
