Supply

Commander – Napoleon at War is the second in a series of high level turn based strategy games. It spans the Napoleonic Wars from 1805 to 1815, allowing players to control France or the Coalitions against it through the entire period or in shorter scenarios. Easy to learn, with fun and addictive gameplay, this is a Napoleonic wargame in the style of the old "Panzer General".

Supply

Post by Johnus »

I can't figure out supply. I seem to have supply problems in the winter no matter where I am located (historical to be sure). I am now approaching Moscow in June and control lines of communication back to Paris, but am out of supply (historical, perhaps, but I don't know why, or how to fix the problem).

The manual's discussion is very short and the rules mentioned there don't seem to apply.

I am unsure if this is the correct place to post this, but being you reference things that are not in the manual.

I do not think there is anything about how weather affects how far you can strategically redeploy (SR) units. For example, when you are SRing Russians into Austria if those snow clouds come over the road, you cannot SR very far. Maybe this is in the manual, I did not see it.
