If I only had some mines

Hired Guns: The Jagged Edge is a turn-based strategy that puts you command of a squad of specialists for hire in the genre’s biggest game-world yet: the African country Diamond Coast. Diamond Coast is a playground for the cruel and corrupt, each with their own agenda. Choose your friends wisely and buy an army of ruthless mercenaries to unleash mayhem on your foes. Choose “jobs” from different factions and complete them for cash to upgrade your weapons and hire more elite soldiers of fortune.

If I only had some mines

Post by DrFuzzy »

I like to go slow and hoard key ammo types so I do a lot of defending while waiting for DJ's to refresh every day. Since I know when the enemy is coming and from what direction it would have been very nice to have like a prebattle time to set some mines down. I can think of a couple maps where well placed claymores would have prevented a lot of fighting.

Why would you want to prevent fighting. That's what my mercs live for! [:D]

I was actually wondering about mines too.  But then just came to the conclusion it just would not be very fun when your mercs spontaneously blew up.  Either that or you just waste time hunting for mines.  Doesn't sound like fun either.  So I'm glad they aren't in.  Now, if there ever were drivable vehicles in the game, I'd probably change my opinion.
