Anti-aliasing?

Post by goldfinger35 »

Is there a way to enable Anti-aliasing in Hired Guns?
I tried forcing it through my drivers but it does not work.

Thanks.

Turn off post-effects.  Override game settings.  I'm using Nvidia 8800GTS.

Thanks, dude!
It is working.
It is a shame that post-effects and aa can not work together.

There's a few games out there that have the same issue. It can work together but it takes a more talented programmer to do it I guess.

I'm probably whacked for posting in such an old thread, but maybe it'll help other people (this thread was one of the first results on google).

Antialiasing works fine for me in Hired Guns, to work I renamed the "game.exe" in Hired Guns\bin to "ut3.exe". This way the AA works even with AA enabled. This is an old trick that works for several other games too, but I can only vouch for it to work on ATI cards (using a 4870 HD here).

You can also try renaming to "oblivion.exe".
