back playing Harpoon

I downloaded harpoon commanders edtion yesterday and ordered the box. It has been a few years since I last played. I upgraded to .44 are there any other patches I should be applying? also where can I read up on adding battlesets and databases.

Good decision to pick up HCE! but then im bias to harpoon games anyway.....

You will find a whole wealth of scenarios\databases\battlesets\mods right here most of them should include installation and instructions for use.

You may be able to find some more information on what you require on harpgamer too.

Yep, what StalinTC said.  There isn't a manual for the battleset builder though we have just the guy lined up (he's mostly waiting on me) to take a stab at it.  We can always walk you thru it on IRC if it doesn't make intuitive sense as you try it on your own.  For IRC chat go to http://www.harpgamer.com where you'll find IRC info along the left-hand side.  We seem to keep mainly North American evening hours lately but often you'll get a response outside of those hours as well, just not as consistently.
