Our CinC is gravely Ill

Post by Wild Bill »

I thought all of you should know that David Heath, head of TGN and Matrix games is extremely ill. The man who never stops has been brought to a standstill with what could be walking pneumonia.

Please do NOT write him unless you absolutely have to do so. He is not able to answer e-mail. Only call him in case of emergency.

A note here on the forum is appropriate, but nothing he need reply to.

What I would request is your prayer and thoughts for him during this time. I'll keep you all posted on his condition. It appears to be something quite serious. I hope we will all be thinking of him, his wife Ava, his boys Andrew and Nick during this critical time.

God bless you David. You are uppermost in our thoughts! Get well soon.

Wild Bill

Glad to hear it's not pneumonia, though a virus can be pretty nasty. I'm sure it's partly the fault of that nasty northeastern weather!

Get well soon, David.

Hi Guys

Thank you so much for all your kind words. I must say I can not remember being that sick before. My oldest son got this about a week ago and then I guess it was my turn. It hit so fast I never even got a chance to warn anyone. I be taking it easy for a few days and I then should be back to full force. Thanks again for the prays.

David.

David, I hesitate to post this, but since you are doing better I will do so. A word of caution. If this was pneumonia or anything that could develop into it, be very cautious. Pnuemonia is a killer. In a 12 month period, my daughters grandfather (Ex-wife's father)approx age 60, my ex-wife (my poor daughter had a rough year)age 38, and my brother's wife, age 48, all died of pneumonia. They were each in different states, and not in contact with each other but each died slow lingering deaths (6-8 weeks in intensive care units on life support). None of them took it seriously till they were in bad shape. I gained a new respect for this illness when I saw how hit and miss the prospects for recovery can be. The nurses at the hospitals all told me that the public has no idea of how many people die each year from it. So please be careful, and make sure you take every precaution. I don't believe anyone here wants to see you become another victim. Hank Smith
