replacements delayed ?

Post by emorbius44 »

Hello;

I'm playing an e-mail guadalcanal scenario as the Japanese player. For air groups in the replacement area it says "replacements delayed" and the "draw from pool" area is grayed out. That has gone on for several turns. Can someone tell me what that's about?

thanks;

Bob

Are you out of pilots in your pool or appropriate aircraft in their pool?

I have this as well as Japan. But I'm neither short of appropriate planes nor pilots.

Questions for both of you:
1. Have you recently taken replacement planes in those groups?
2. Is there a supply issue or shortage at those locations?
3. Is there airfield or port damage in the hex?

There is a maximum number of replacements you can draw from the pool  (iirc the period is a week) for each air unit.  Same for the Allies.

Well that explains a lot. I usually notice this while one or more new airgroups are fitting out. Makes sense then.
