Downloading Update

Have CD version.

Checking for updates on-line (old-fashioned dial-up), get message that update (update 3) is available.

Press button to download. "Transfer Rate" shows plausible, changing KB/Sec values.

However, "Estimated time left", which begins at 0:00, never changes. Download goes on for half an hour or onger without any completion message.

What to do?
