Capabilities of AI player?

Post by Rosseau »

I was wondering about the AI player:

1) Does it use resource points when available to buy new units for itself in the game?
2) If a city contains a bonus unit, is it capable of deploying that unit as a human would when the city is conquered?
3) Does it use its available resource points to reinforce and resupply its units in a scenario?

Hello, thanks for your questions to the AI:

1. Yes, if the AI has enough resources it will buy new units.
2. Sorry, not at the moment.
3. Of course, it does. ;-) This is a really important point for the AI.

Thanks Ralf. On #2, I will save myself that step when creating scenarios. I don't think it's necessary anyway.

On #3, I figured "yes," but didn't want to take anything for granted. Thanks for doing the thorough job with the AI, and I am sure more enhancements are in the works!
