Exit hex question

Post by mao »

When exiting units do I get more points if I bail crews out of my AFVs, artillery, MGs etc. etc. or not?

I'm not totally positive, but I think so, since each has value.
Retreat is NOT an option.

mao,
I believe Warrior is correct.
If you have damaged AFV's that aren't capable of any movement...and the scenario is late in the game (turn 11 or higher...since most run 15 to 20 turns) I usually bail them out and get them off the edge for the points.
That goes as well for weapons crews that have been blasted from their "toys" and are off hiding in the weeds. :)
The only thing I'm not totally sure of is whether you get more points if you have an infantry unit in a truck and send them off separately rather than together. From what I can tell...I think you just might. I've always unloaded them just before the hex and walked them all off individually....just to be on the safe side. :D
