Moving saved files across computers.

Post by ltfightr »

OK so I am in Texas with my laptop. I currently can't get my laptop on the net. However I can get on the net with a friends computer. I have saved a PBEM turn to a jump drive and then moved it on the laptop into the AE save folder. The problem is when I go to load the game it is not listed in the save files to load? any Ideas???

Was it zipped? Or did you change the suffix?

Did not change a thing. Just downloaded the file and moved it. Its still a pws file unzipped. Looks just like the other 1v1 games in the saved file that the game does see.

Did you copy the file before opening the game? if you do it the other way round then you probably not see it. This happen to me. Close the game and reopen it and it will see it.

Another thought, do the games have the same path?
