What resolution & screen format?

Post by BigDuke66 »

I wonder what screen resolutions and formats are supported.
Will TOAW III run on a 24" TFT with 1920 to 1200?

Can you sent it to me to try out?[:'(]

I'm developing the patch at 1920x1200 on Windows 7 64-bit. It also supports (by spanning) multiple monitors.

3.2 should also support that in windows XP compatibility mode.

I was going to post the same thing in the Linux thread... about the game [:D]

I don't even have it I'm just thinking about buying a new monitor and got worried if my favorite games could handle such monster.

Well I can tell you 24" ain't a monster at all. I was looking for a new monitor myself a year ago, was asking myself the same question.... maybe 24" is too big? Well it ain't! You get used to the screen within a day, and I'm still glad I didn't buy a 22". So my advice, go for a 24", maybe even bigger.

Yes, it works without a flaw. I've been playing on a Dell Ultrasharp 2408WFP @ 1920x1200 for quite some time now. Really looking forward to try the new huge view.

I run at 2560x1600 on a 30" monitor and it works fine.
