New map (large 100x240) for PBEM

Post by Jack »

I made another large map. I did play test it against myself in the host seat mode to check for invisible building and terrain. The following is text from the PzMap file:
100x240 map. Designed for PBEM. Only 3 VH all valued at 100pts per turn located in the following areas: (50,20) (49,127) and (50,212). To simulate thick woods I used rough terrain and placed trees on top in critical areas. The point system for the VH forces the use of aerial conveyance to both sides or neither. Historically there was a battle with both sides jumping in to capture the same bridge at the same time. Operation Marston the capture of the Primosole bridge in Sicily, July 43. The player 1 set up area is closer to his board edge because player 1 moves first. This is done so there is not as much of an advantage to moving first. Shell holes were also incorporated in a realistic manner for play balance as well to hinder movement slightly. The terrain depicted in this map is rural. Ensure your opponent has access to this text. Have fun!
Anyone wanting a copy of the map email me and I will send it to you. jdionne@mts.net
