can't get game to start

can't get game to start. Download ok, but I click on play sotp nothing happens.
Stupid rebellion, anyhow....D. Vader

Hi Axisandallies,

Did you allow the installer to install all the necessary components when it ran or did you uncheck any of those boxes?

Can you check the installation folder to see if there is a consoleout.txt file and if so, post the contents here please?

Could you also post a DxDiag for us please?

Did you tried to run the game in administrator mode?

When I get home from work today I will re-install it. The last box was unchecked, if I remember right. There where three boxed right, after the download?
