PDF Manual

Post by Wolfe1759 »

Just bought the game and prior to playing thought it would be a good idea to give the manual quick read through.

Easier said than done.

The formatting of the PDF manual is appalling, only the top half or so of each page is used generally stopping mid paragraph or mid sentence. Any information relating to the graphics is not aligned to what it is referring to (if it is even on the same page) making it a bit of guesswork as to what text refers to what graphic.

This must be one of the only computer wargames where it seems to be a good idea to play the game before reading the manual! Not that the tutorial helps much.

Why, why, why didn't you use the same (significantly more professional looking) manual format that was used for ToW?

This is one reason why I decided to gamble paying full price and get this game. The support from the developer has been amazing. And I'm pleased to say that my gamble has paid off. I really do like this game! (That's getting rare these days)

Perfect, thank you Doomtrader.

As bbmike has said, an excellent level of support as it was for ToW.

It seems impossible to download the manual from this link. It is broken?

Worked for me, took a little bit of time for it to appear once I'd opened the link though that might have been my system/virus checker.

Hi everyone,

The manual in the release was not able to be run through our normal layout process due to the release timeframe. While it's quite legible, it's certainly not pretty. We've been working on a full layout version like our other manuals and this will be made available as soon as it's ready.

Regards,

- Erik
