AI and are there any active player?

Commander – Europe at War Gold is the first in a series of high level turn based strategy games. The first game spans WW2, allowing players to control the axis or allied forces through the entire war in the European Theatre.

AI and are there any active player?

I'm thinking of getting this game. Are there still any active player for this game looking for opponents and how well does the AI perform? Keep in mind, I realize that no AI can be expected to perform like a human player. So, I mean in comparison to most AIs.

But most importantly, are any of you guys still playing?

This game still has a lot of active players, thanks to the Grand Strategy mod. However, everyone has gravitated toward the Slitherine publisher's forum. If you're still around, go to Slitherine's site and check it out!

I found the AI better in Strategic Command 2 but as the poster above said you can still find human brains to contend with :-)
