Well, many months after I'd planned, I've finally been trying out the 222 Beta patch. I like the new interface very much and also the new screen size options. There were one or two minor glitches (very rarely, error dialog boxes would pop up, but I simply clicked on them, they disappeared and all was well; and I got occasional messages telling me that a new hospital was being set up when it wasn't). But they hardly spoiled the play and, moreover, the 222 patch runs fine in Windows Vista without any need to change compatibility or 'Run As Administrator'. All in all, I was very happy

However...there is one big problem: you can't play the extended campaign scenario for either 1805 or 1809! Checking back through the patches I see that this was also true of the 221 patch.
I don't know if Frank checks in this forum any more, but I'd *love* it if he could just fix that one thing. Here's hoping...
