Demo available?

The team behind the award-winning game Advanced Tactics is back with a new and improved game engine that focuses on the decisive early days of World War II! Decisive Campaigns: The Blitzkrieg from Warsaw to Paris is the first in an innovative series of operational World War II wargames that also include a strategic element. The Blitzkrieg from Warsaw to Paris simulates Germany’s military successes in Poland and France in 1939 and 1940 (including also a hypothetical “Sea Lion” invasion of Great Britain).

Demo available?

Post by Javolenus »

Hi there,

This game intrigues me but I feel it's too expensive to take a punt. Is there a demo available? If so, I would surely try it and, if I liked it, I would buy the full game. Generally speaking, the Matrix site seems to have few demos, but the prices are too high for 'impulse buys'--at least they are for me.

Have you ever played a hex-based wargame before?

Yes I have. How does this answer my question about a demo?

Hi Javolenus, There's no demo available. Take a look at this AAR Video on YOUTUBE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2aO9RuvEGI It might help you decide if the gameplay is to your liking.
Hope this helps.

Cheers

Hi Jimbo and thanks for this. That's great--I'll watch the AAR video now. I'm sure the game is good, it's just that--having come a cropper several times before--I prefer to check games out before buying. Thanks again for the help and all the best.
