PzCO Crashing to desktop at scenario end

Post by firehall »

I've been playing a random campaign and have a problem with the final scenario crashing to the desktop without any error message right before the report screen.

I'm using the latest beta patch (PanzerCommandOstfront-UpdateComp-Build329cBeta).

While playing the 12th (final) scenario of the 1st Panzer Division 1943-44 random short campaign I come to what I believe is the final phase where I score points to win the scenario. I click the double arrow to skip the replay of the phase and the game crashes to the desktop.

About six weeks ago I had a different problem with a scenario crashing with an error message (details here: tm.asp?m=2914615).

Attaching DxDiag log here and will attach gamelog in another message due to attachment limit.

Here's the gamelog. The log is for the final phase (half turn).

Firehall,

Can you zip up Your Campaign files along with the campaign scenarios? You can find the Campaign file in the Data\Campaigns folder, and the Scenarios for it will be in the data\Scenarios folder. If you can zip them up and attach to message here that would help.

Thanks

Rick, the campaign file and the scenario files for that campaign are in the attached zip file.

I feel a bit sheepish now because I didn't post this in the original message. The campaign was created and started with patch 328g. Maybe nine or ten scenarios were completed on that patch. I patched to 329c and completed one or two before the problematic scenario I'm on now.

No problem. I'll take a look, but it may be that the change from 328g to 329c might be the cause. Not necessarily, but possibly. I'll take a look and see if I see anything.

Thanks!
Rick
